Destiny Keown, Calli Gregory, Alyssa Melton, Hanna Mears-Sneed and Brigette Swafford were a few of the first to complete the OSHA 10-Hour General Industry (Agriculture) training course. Some of the many benefits include:

  • Training that provides entry level workers and employees basic safety awareness torecognize, avoid, and prevent safety and health hazards in the workplace.
  • Information regarding workers' rights, employer responsibility, and how to file a complaint.
  • Receive the OSHA 10-Hour credential card that demonstrates to employers that you have received safety training needed in the workplace.
  • Become more employable; gain a competitive edge in the job market.

All students enrolled in Veterinary Science and Large Animal Science are currently completing the on-line class and will receive a certificate of completion and their wallet-card. The certification does not expire and is good for the graduates’ life time.
